Cafe Riverside Omelette House

A Hidden Gem by the Water! What a beautiful hidden gem the Riverside Café is! We stumbled upon it by chance on our way to London, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our journey. We stopped in for a coffee and a treat, and were warmly welcomed by the absolutely lovely staff, so friendly and generous. The view from the café is simply stunning, overlooking the river, it’s calming, refreshing, and the perfect spot to unwind. The atmosphere is peaceful, the coffee was excellent, and the whole place has a charm that makes you want to linger. I’ll definitely be stopping by again whenever I’m passing through!

Wow Where do i start! The amazing relaxing views or the delicious omelettes? The setup is amazing. You really feel at peace when you're at this café! Also, I tried the baklava, which is the best I've had so far! If you fancy some time to relax & enjoy some scrumptious food, here is the place!

Very flexible and friendly chef. Reasonable prices, good portion sizes. I prefer VEGAN food and they were able to make me up an all day breakfast without any animal products. (There were no alternative milks though, so you may like to take your own?). We had the place to ourselves just after noon. Plenty of parking, and a nice minimalist feel to it!

Reviews saying cash only are out of date. Loads of parking space. Food was fine. Only niggle was a lot of traffic noise, though that's not down to the café.

Amazing!!! Just popped into the little riverside café with my husband and baby for a bite to eat. We were extremely delighted with the food here! For us, super super super tasty!!! very fast service, and set in such a pretty surrounding. Can't wait to go back. Would definitely recommend anyone to go here! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is an amazing little place serving a selection of home cooked food. Although late morning I had their mega breakfast and my partner had a ham and cheese omelette which came with fried halloumi, salad or fried and olives. The husband and wife(I assume) team from Bulgaria were extremely polite and efficient. The inclusion of a high quality chess board was a nice touch for anyone not in a rush. Outside was a lovely lake and relaxing area with weeping willows all around and a large kids play area. I highly recommend visiting whether for a snack meal, relaxation or giving the kids somewhere to play. I wish them all the best success in this venture

What a lovely little spot! Owner of the cafe was welcoming and catered to our food requests perfectly. I had the Riverside Omelette was absolutely scrumptious! Kids devoured sausage, egg, bacon and were very happy Simple play area outside kept them entertained and we got a chance to sit in the sunshine after food. Perfect

Lovely hidden gem just off of A11, well worth the detour. Food was delicious - great tasting burgers and different styles of breakfast and sandwiches available. The baklava was amazing!!! Staff was super friendly, and even though we were informed of a slight delay with food, we didn't wait much. The place is very nice, with a pond and a playground. Great for lunch on a nice day.
